Process Identification: First explain a process in one paragraph. Identify and describe business processes and process components. Minimum requirements: Identify, diagram analyze and redesign one (1) business process that exists within the company you are studying. Two or more actors/roles per process One or more data store (data repository/database) per process Five or more tasks/activities per process Diagram the identified business processes using LucidChart following BPMN standards and rules. Process Analysis: Identify performance measures (efficiency and effectiveness) to analyze the business processes and describe the issues (potential or existing) based on performance measures. Explain your analyses. Process Redesign: Diagram the redesigned processes Explain your recommendations, solutions, and changes for the issues identified in the analysis. You can provide suggestions on the diagrams using annotations which will be easier for all the group members to communicate the issues and solutions. For a customer to order a Tesla, they must first register to make an account online. Once they are registered, their information is stored in a database. Then the customer will choose the car build, choose the car color, and choose the car’s interior color. Once they decide this and make a down payment, they will have the option to view their car in person. This information gets sent to the manufacturing warehouse, and they build the vehicle to the customer’s needs from the website. If some parts of the vehicle is not in the manufacturing warehouse, then check the availability of the materials by accessing the supplier’s catalog. Once the car is assembled, they get a message saying they can see the vehicle. If they live in California near a Tesla Service Support Center, they can visit the car and see if the car is up to their standards, then they can either keep and purchase of the car or decide to not pursue purchasing the car. If they do not live in California, once they pay for the vehicle, they can order it to the Tesla Service Support, and have it delivered to them before deciding if they want to keep the vehicle or return it. If the customer decides to return the vehicle, they will get the refund within a few days. The process completes when the order is archived by the company.2.
